Lifestyle | Patel Family
I had the pleasure of shooting a fun session with the Patel family just after Mother's day. The session was scheduled as a gift for 'mom' while all of the children (and husbands!) were visiting from various parts of the country~
We shot their session in their home where we had the beautiful golf course of the Idle Creek community right out their back door!
3 daughters = 1 older sister, and 2 twins (who, by the way, are both pregnant at the same time!)
Everyone had their cameras out getting shots of such a rare occasion of the entire family together~
They even got a shot of the photographer!
They have such a gorgeous family! They could ALL pass as models~
And little Asha was having some fun warming up for the camera...
with silly faces~
and shy faces~
and pretty faces!
and super cute toes!
When we began shooting our session, I kept hearing the family mention the "wall of horrors"....As we walked downstairs to head outside, I caught a photo of what they were talking about and I LOVE it! I'm pretty sure that every family has one of these :) My hopes are that we can update it a bit with some new family photos....maybe we can change the name of the wall while we're at it!!
Outside, there were plenty of fun things to photograph....there were new spring flowers, a fish pond & sidewalk chalk! Doesn't get much better than that?!

Engagement | Jennifer & Jim
Well, they go by Jimifer....haha~ I Love it! I couldn't tell you how many times we were confused with their names during the session....Jim, Jen, Jen, Jim....too close, but they have fun with it!
This couple is the cutest thing you'll ever see (see photo above~)....They were goofy and cuddly and fun! aaaannndddd.....AWESOME! I said that word over 100 times during a 2 hour period...I couldn't help it....if only we would have thought to spell it out Ala the YMCA dance moves, it would have been absolutely perfect?!
We did some fun shots around the Fine Arts building on ISU's campus...this was a special place to the two of them because they spent SO much time there together finishing up with school...
ISU's campus really is beautiful...especially in spring! We had a lot of backdrops to work with there....the fountain near the Student Union and tons of beautiful blooming trees...
Some of my favorite shots were done near the President's House and on 7th street near a few different local churches....great architecture and textures!
Love you guys! I'm looking forward to your energy on the wedding day~ I know it will be a blast :)

Engagement Session | Melissa & Justin
Melissa and Justin are planning a 'green' wedding! I'm was so happy to hear the details of their wedding day, and thought it only appropriate to incorporate a tree~
They have opted to create invitations using recycled materials for their invitations and cutting down on paper products at the wedding...they are also negating the use of electricity in ways that they can, like using natural lighting & candles rather than plugging in 100s of yards of twinkle lights! I love it~
:) Who doesn't like a nice bum shot??
Melissa & Justin also wanted to shoot their session where they met...in High School! North Central High School to be exact~
