Wedding | Corrie & Trent
Hold on to your hats folks, this is going to be a long blog post!
PART ONE::
Corrie & Trent are such an amazing couple! I was so sad to find out that are schedules were not going to match up to shoot an engagement session before the wedding, so I gave them the option of having me join them for the rehearsal dinner instead....
I love having the chance to shoot with a couple prior to the wedding day. I have found that it offers the couple a sense of comfort to know how I approach shooting the wedding day and I love having the time to interact with them as well....by having the opportunity to shoot the rehearsal dinner for them I was able to meet everyone in their families and bridal party, which was a major plus and totally a blast!!
The rehearsal dinner was held on the second floor of Stable's Steakhouse in Terre Haute Indiana. It is a locally owned and operated and has SO MUCH character! We had fun shooting a mini E-Session with them after their guests had went home for the evening....here are a few of my favorites!!
PART TWO ::
The wedding day....it was perfect! I wish I could shoot a wedding like this one EVERY weekend....The weather was fabulous, everyone was happy and Corrie was stunning!
They started by getting ready in Corrie's home, which was just a short drive from the White Chapel...
Corrie had my DREAM dress! It had two wonderful outer 'jackets' that were made of beautiful lace and bead work...(one for the ceremony & one for the reception!)

Patiently awaiting the ceremony!
Corrie & Trent held their reception at the Rose Hulman Dining Hall (just a short walk down the lane from the White Chapel) which was conveniently nestled on Rose Hulman's campus. I love shooting there! So much natural light and the campus is filled with great locations for shooting outdoor portraits!
Cake by the super awesome KT Cakes!
Matt Lueking with Showtime Music kept the party hopping all night long! I've never seen so many awesome moves! ....There were some great silhouette moments at this location too!!
Corrie's sister, Mandy, sang her heart out for Trent and his family as a dedication to his late mother. It was a truly emotional moment for everyone that was there...Mandy has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard...
The Fabulous Flowers were designed by Jerry at The Station Floral...
I love me some detail shots! Jeaneatte & Her team at Simple to Elegant coordintated and decortated the event sites! Beautiful!!
Corrie and Trent! I can't tell you how thankful I am that I got to work with you on your wedding day! You two were the perfect couple to work with in every way.....I really feel like I made some life-long friends that day with you and your guests and I can't wait for your family portrait session coming up this fall!

Senior Portraits | Emily
Emily rocked the camera this weekend for her Senior Portrait Session! I had such a blast with her!!
She is a Senior at Terre Haute South High School and is making a mark in the local art community! I love her pizazz and love for anything and everything vintage ~ We clicked immediately and had so much fun exploring downtown Terre Haute looking for new locations to shoot some fun images!
I had been eyeing this blue wall for some time now and lucky for us that we headed that way....they were painting over it!?
Check out her awesome outfit!...I love her eclectic style!!
I had also been eyeing this fun wall! Perfect setting for someone with so much personality~
Next, we headed to the Art Reach studio located on 7th & Wabash.... Art Reach is a fabulous organization that nurtures art in many forms (painting, sculpture, poetry & more!) for students and is headed by artist Jack Fox.
It was very fun to see this space again, because they are located in my old studio space! How crazy is that?! It looks so great with everyone's art all over the walls and projects in process...
This is SOOOO Emily!
Emily also teaches Yoga! She had some ideas to strike a few poses in the park....I love it!
And some happy spinning smiles~
