Malcolm Gladwell | Good Reads!

I have been listening and enjoying two of Malcom Gladwell's books (audio books)....

The Tipping Point ::



I read this a few months ago and really appreciated the way it made me look at my decisions in a different way...I love that the author reads his own book too. His voice is soothing and I can tell he is passionate about the subjects in which he is writing :-)

Blink ::



I'm currently reading this, and again enjoying listening to the authors voice and views on why people think what they think....I love it when I am inspired by something (a book...an image... a converstation....whatever.) and it makes me evaluate the my own goals and views...Truly thought provoking and a good conversation in my opinion

My cell phone died last night....officially.

She had been on her last leg for quite some time now....I was hoping for her to last until January when my contract with Sprint expires so I could make a smooth switch to AT&T and get one of those shiny new iPhones that everyone keeps telling me about ;-)

If you need to reach me by phone, please call me and LEAVE ME A MESSAGE so I know that you called....I do have a back up on it's way (thank goodness for phone insurance!) and I WILL be able to check my messages until then (thanks to Levi's trusty cell) ... but if you call with no message, I will never know :-)

Album Design (a Preview)

I'm so excited to share a current album design for one of my clients! She will be here in 30 minutes to view it for the first time, but I wanted to share it with everyone else while I wait for her to get here~

Sprout Session | North (Newborn)

Levi and I have been friends with Alan & Bridgett for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time! Seriously....I think out of all of the friends that we still see regularly, they would definelty win the prize! Which must mean they are GREAT friends :-)

Alan & Bridgett recently welcomed their baby boy, North, into the world....so we packed up the car and headed to Bloominton to get a look at this kid!

I promise that I don't pinch kids during a photo session!!

Both sets of Grandparents were present at the hospital to spend time with the new baby! There was a lot of love in the room...not to mention, Levi and I are so happy that Lincoln will now have a buddy to teach some bad habits too :-)





I always get a kick out of seeing what images are the favorites of the families that I photograph....It was fun tonight to read Bridgett's Blog and see that she posted some images from our visit...I admire that she posts regularly (something I need to work on!) and I have fun watching their family adventures too!...Check out her post about our photo session!
